Slow Bread, Slow Heart: Lessons from the Hearth

What fermentation, kneaded dough and long patience taught me about God's quiet work.

Bread cannot be rushed. The dough rises in its own time, and so, I am learning, do I.

The Waiting

Mix the dough in the evening and leave it to rest overnight. Trust that something is happening even when you cannot see it.

The Breaking

Share the loaf while it is warm. Gratitude tastes best at the table.
